We're one of the oldest clubs in Austin - and formed back in the early 60s, when (so the seasoned members tell it)
people always wore business suits with collar & tie... and membership was open to men only! Needless to say, we've
come a LONG way since then. Our memberships pretty evenly balanced now between men and women; young and old;
long-time members and newcomers. One thing binds us all - we all still get those nerves in our stomach when we have
to speak. I think it helps to know that the vast majority of people do - however it also helps to know that Toastmasters
can teach you to deal with those nerves.

We've got about 25 active members, and membership dues of $30 are paid every 6 months.

Breakfast: we ask everyone to pay $2 (to help defray the tip we leave for our waitperson) - for that you can get a glass
of orange juice plus tea or coffee. If you wish to order breakfast, that's extra. Prices are in the range of $4 to $7 for breakfast.

Come and try us out. We always welcome guests - and breakfast is free for first-time guests.
