Jerry’s Toastmasters opportunities, Karen’s Chinese Year, and Dan’s Irish Giant brought an international flavor to our meeting Monday. All were well delivered, most interestingly presented and a winner in any situation. Dan’s Giant won the blue ribbon nod of approval.

Priscilla was Toastmaster of the day and based her theme on a favorite book of hers, “Feel the Fear; Do it Anyway.” Some time this is a tall order, however Balcones TM's are up to handling the charge. Your task was well executed this morning Priscilla.

John Allert tossed good TT questions; some struck out, some tipped foul, one bunted and Gordon bashed his question out of the park to win the ribbon.

Anne’s evaluators were kind, concise, and helpful. Steve Levering’s observations of Dan’s Giant won the ribbon.

Next Monday’s speakers are John McMillan, Amy Always, and Jonathan Huizingh. I know we all will be in for a treat hearing their labor of love, presented with verve, panache, and excitement. See you there!
