Balcones Toastmasters Monday Morning Musings
Monday’s meeting was a little sparse in members, but strong on quality. I have noticed, however, that is always the case. It takes 14 members to fill all the spots on the program and that was number of members present. Anne gave a speech in Scott’s place, Jerry filled Phil’s post, and Glenn filled in for Gordon. That speaks well for Balcones.
Mary gave the “One Minute TM”, and Vinh, John, and Steve, the winner, spoke to interesting questions posed by T.T. master Jerry.
Speaker, Anne gave us a tour, via a slide show, of MS’s aggravating Vista program. Speaker Sonny brought an unusual presentation on the use of gestures. That must have been a difficult thing to do; discuss gestures without using them. Priscilla’s speech covered the helpful, healthful, use of hilarity. All were great speeches, and will be remembered. The voters gave the blue ribbon to….

Evaluations were handled by, Karen, Harry, Glenn, and Jon. Glenn won the ribbon.
Thank you Dan, our Toastmaster, for guiding the “Ship of Speech” through to a safe port.
See you Monday. HBaker
