Balcones Toastmasters - Notes from 31 March

Jim Comer was the winner of the last area speech contest. Our congratulations to Jim for a job well done. He promised to bring his trophy next week for us all to see and touch. I for one am looking forward to the ”Touchy Feely.”

And most importantly, A big WELCOME to new…old member, Mike Prentice. Welcome Home.

The “ribbon winners,” were…Jonathan for evaluation, Sonny for Table Topics, Glenn for speaker, and Anne for the most improved.

Three speeches were delivered: Jerry, Harry, and Glenn. The winner, Glenn, spoke on being careful about running “yellow lights with our hearts.” Glenn did a good job and may save lives with this speech.
